SYNOPSIS
Columbiadamm in Berlin is a place of coming and going. Truck drivers drop their anchor on the side of the street before being washed away with the next order, always ready for departure. In the surrounding of their trucks they try to escape the loneliness of the road. Sailors tells the story of four men from Turkey, who share a life on wheels, between roads and truck cabins. They come together to eat, to laugh and to feel a little bit of home. During their stops on Columbiadamm they become friends. They exchange memories, stories from their trips and the thoughts and questions that travel along. Where is your place? How have you come here? Where to go next? Sailors is a film about destiny, destination and the longing for something else.
